Reform AU Manifesto
Our vision is simple: put Australia first, protect our freedoms, and deliver policies that work in the real world — not in political talking points.
1. Protecting Free Speech & Individual Rights
- Introduce an Australian Bill of Rights into the Australian Constitution to safeguard free speech. This will require referendum. - Abolish the eSafety Commissioner — parents, not government, should decide what their children access online.
2. Housing & Immigration Reform
- Link migration and temporary visa numbers directly to available housing stock. - Address housing affordability at its root cause - years of poor government policy, not migrants themselves.
3. Fairer Superannuation
- Repeal the superannuation tax on balances over $3M. - Super for kids: Start every newborn with a $1,500 managed fund, plus $500 a year from the government (indexed to inflation) until age 18, invested in the ASX200. - By adulthood: ~$22,500 starting super balance. -Even without working, this could grow to over $660,000 by retirement through compound interest.
4. Defence
- Increase military spending to 3.5% of GDP. - Boost ADF recruitment with long-term benefits that extend beyond service. - Provide stronger veteran support after service.
5. National Unity & Representation
- Only the Australian national flag in federal institutions - representing all Australians as one. - End divisive policies and embrace what unites us. - Recognise that no one today is responsible for their ancestors’ actions - our focus must be building Australia’s future together.
6. Energy & Resources
- Abandon Net Zero targets that harm productivity. - Invest in nuclear energy while exploring government-owned gas and coal plants to keep prices low. - Capitalise on our rich mineral abundance and create a state-owned mining company where Australians are shareholders, with dividends paid to the people.
7. Smarter Government
- Cut wasteful government spending and report savings to the public. - Gender quotas: Scrap them. The best person for the job should get the job. - Repeal misgendering laws and ban puberty blockers for minors.
8. Education Reform
- Remove ideological content from the national curriculum. - Focus on academic excellence, replacing low-value content with world-class subjects. - Involve highly successful entrepreneurs in developing a modern and effective curriculum focusing on the jobs of the future.
9. Innovation & Economic Growth
- Involve successful entrepreneurs in national policy creation. - Index tax brackets to stop bracket creep; raise the tax-free threshold to $30,000. - Lower tax rates for those working 2 jobs (gig-economy workers and side-hustlers, etc) - Reduce reliance on income tax and encourage entrepreneurship.
10. Additional Key Policies
- Legislate against reverse racism. - Protect Medicare as a core national service. - Break up supermarkets if they abuse market power. - Commercialise ABC TV to improve quality while preserving regional services. - Repeal outdated and unnecessary laws.
